Graffiti art is everywhere. Some of the most fascinating graffiti lives on the sides of buildings, in abandoned warehouses, on bridges or tucked away in an alley plastered on a nook that can be seen only with peripheral vision. That graffiti, when spotted, makes the drive home suddenly more interesting than the ride the day before. Now you’ve noticed a graffiti artist has managed to paint an illustration of something you can’t quite articulate but you like it, because of its bright colors and bold designs.

He could be described as a random, average looking guy with a skateboard on his side but people will quickly learn  that almost nothing about the American professional skateboarder Ishod Wair is random, or average. In fact, Ishod is the most wanted professional skateboarder on the scene. 

“Skating has taught me that a loss isn’t always the worst thing. It’s a step in the right direction to win. Black Girls Rule

“My dream is to create spaces where black artists feel seen, supported, and celebrated.” said Joshua Love, founder of “A Spectacular Black Girl Art Show.” 

The curator worked hard to make his dream come true and the city of Atlanta had the great honor to host A Spectacular Black Girl Art Show again this year along  with 22 other cities celebrating black female artists and their artwork in various forms.
